As I usually do, I will again be a sponsor for the 36th Annual Rockville Public Safety Awards where we will pay tribute to those dedicated individuals who protect and serve the Rockville community. This important program, hosted by the amazing Greater Rockville Chamber of Commerce, recognizes the contributions of the Rockville City Police Department, Rockville Volunteer Fire Department, the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, and the Montgomery County Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The primary aim of the program is to acknowledge exceptional achievements by the members of these public safety agencies within the City of Rockville. We all benefit from the exceptional service provided by these agencies. This year, the awards ceremony will be at the Lakewood Country Club on June 3rd at 11:30 am.  Additionally, we are continuing the tradition of accepting donations for the First Responders Children's Foundation, which provides support to the families of first responders who have sacrificed in the line of duty.
