37th Annual Public Safety Awards Will Honor Those Who Protect Rockville
May 20, 2026
The upcoming 37th Annual Rockville Public Safety Awards will recognize the dedicated public safety professionals and civilians who help keep Rockville safe. The event, held in partnership with the City of Rockville and the Greater Rockville Chamber of Commerce, honors outstanding service by members of the Rockville City Police Department, Rockville Volunteer Fire Department, Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, and Montgomery County Department of Correction and Rehabilitation.
Councilmember Adam Van Grack congratulates this year’s honorees and thanks all of Rockville’s first responders for their bravery, professionalism, and daily commitment to our community. Councilmember Van Grack has attended and supported the Rockville Public Safety Awards, including as a sponsor, for more than a decade.
“Public safety is one of the most important responsibilities of local government,” said Councilmember Van Grack. “Rockville is fortunate to have outstanding police officers, firefighters, correctional officers, sheriff’s deputies, dispatchers, civilian staff, volunteers, and residents who step forward to protect and serve others. These awards are an important opportunity to say thank you.”
The awards ceremony will take place on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. at Lakewood Country Club. Residents and community members can purchase tickets through the Greater Rockville Chamber of Commerce event page.
