This afternoon, I was proud to represent the entire Rockville Mayor & Council in testifying before the Maryland House of Delegates in Annapolis to support renters' rights through Delegate Joe Vogel's HB 1257 which would eliminate the ability for landlords to charge undisclosed fees to renters. We must work to ensure cost transparency for renters and fair competition for landlords. Thankful also to Gaithersburg Councilmember Yamil Hernández, Delegate Ryan Spiegel, Delegate Nick Allen for supporting this important bill.
