The Rockville Volunteer Fire Department was recently targeted by cyber criminals who stole over $200,000 which was intended to be a downpayment for the purchase of two new ambulances to better serve the Rockville community. 

Upon learning of this crime, RVFD immediately reported it to the Montgomery County Police Department, the United States Secret Service (who handle cybercrimes related to finances), and the FBI. This is one of those times when our community needs to come to the aid of our first responders (as opposed to vice versa).
